I like this part: "Avoid disparaging the lifestyles of your friends and family, no matter how shallow or perverse these may seem to you upon returning." I remember not feeling comfortable wearing shorts for a while after returning from Saudi Arabia, as well as getting used to scantily-clad women. And there is always the element of adventure when living in another country. Life here in the USA is good, but isn't it a little predictable?
