New contact lenses may check blood sugar levels for diabetics

A new generation of contact lenses is on its way, and they'll be doing a lot more than correcting our vision. Dr. Chris Geddes from University of Maryland Biotechnology Institute is creating contact lenses with sensor spots in them that change color as the wearer's glucose level changes.
