Thanks for your interesting comment :) I assume you are referring to the amalgamation of a feminine ending derived from the Spanish language with an English word. I looked up "Latina" at dictionary.com, and apparently this word is used to describe a Latino girl, and "failure to do so may be resented!"
Wikipedia also seems to accept the use of the term as used by the photographer of the young woman:
